that want to destroy everything that is not extremist Islam. Also, with all the people waiting to adopt, there are no "unwanted children". There is nothing more innocent than an unborn child so yes, that's murder (especially late term). It is sad to me
WTFO - November 3, 2009, 11:38 pm
Grunch, seriously? The "innocent people" as you call them are terrorists and insurgents. The innocent casualties from collatoral damage is always tragic but a direct result of the terrorists hiding among women and children. We wipe out dangerous psychos
Grunch - November 2, 2009, 7:36 pm

Grunch - November 2, 2009, 7:34 pm
You brag about going to war and killing millions of innocent people who want to live, because that is "helping solve the overpopulation problem". But when people abort a pregnancy that would put an unwanted child in the world they are murderers.

WTFO - September 29, 2009, 4:59 pm
Absolutely not. Those dirtbags need to be hunted down and castrated so they don't continue to spread their ignorant genes. I'm all about responsibility and accountability.

True enough. But what of the thousands of worthless men who get a woman pregnant and then walk out like the cowards they are? Does the woman have to track down the scum bag to get his permission then?
WTFO - September 10, 2009, 1:28 am
We have some agreement here, ILB. However, right now there is no legal requirement for the father to be involved in the killing of his child. Also, the POTUS supports partial birth abortion, which is clearly murder. I completely disagree with that policy.
ILB - September 9, 2009, 6:31 am
I would never counsil a woman to have an abortion, but ultimately its between her, her partner, and whatever powers they may believe in.
WTFO - August 29, 2009, 11:33 pm
Zimpel (is that like simple, I think so), thank you so much for proving exactly what this poster states. Dehumanizing a baby so you can kill an innocent life without conscience. BTW, late term babies do have a central nervous system. Sean, well put.
Sean - August 29, 2009, 8:08 pm
At the risk of overlooking a previous comment making this very point: the mistake is the unprotected sex at a time in their lives when they cannot give a child a proper upbringing. He clearly referred to the baby as a baby.
zimpel - August 29, 2009, 7:53 pm
they aren't babies they're fetuses and they dont even have a central nervous system basically on the same level as a parasite and should be removed from the host if desired.

It's not a baby yet it's a fetus. Still even if it was a baby I'd have it killed due to major overpopulation from fuck ups like you
WTFO - April 5, 2009, 12:41 am
When you call someone you don't know a coward, that is hate writing. I support people putting up unwanted kids for adoption versus killing them. I support a good upbringing as well, kids can get that if they are adopted.
Adopt (again again) - April 5, 2009, 12:20 am
It wasn't hate I was writing out of, just impatience. Easy mistake to make though given similar tone in writing style.
Adopt (again) - April 5, 2009, 12:19 am
Well congratulations on your cohesive family, many fail to do so. But I still am still in favour of a short, warm, well nourished life than one where the child is effectivley abandoned. And yes I do advocate contraception. We are all naive to an extent.

Mark, I think you'd have to duct-tape Adopts mouth first (or keep something stuffed in it). Looking at the comment, you don't want to hear any of the BS coming out of that mouth

Now, for you bitter, hate-filled comment, Adopt. 1st watch the name calling, there's no need for it unless you don't have a defendable position, of course (which I don't believe you do). I am actually a father of 2. My kids are reliant on me and my

For the record, I believe that abortion is a procedure that should be reserved for rape, incest and endangerment of life. I do not believe that it should be used for convenience, in place of birth control, or for endangerment of "lifestyle".

I'm in CA. It depends on the type/severity of the fire and next nearest hydrant. It takes 15-20 minutes or more to get a tow truck and the line that hooks to the hydrant isn't very flexible. There's a lot of pressure involved. So yup, there's a reason.

Great points, Bah. We need to get you an avatar, bud. Come in, join the fun. Membership has it's benefits, we'll give you all the women Ron can't eat (which doesn't leave you much, sorry).
Bah - October 7, 2009, 1:11 am
The highest estimators include Katrina rescue and repair and other unrelated military actions. The low ones assume that recruiting would have been the same w/out the war. Both are wrong, so the reality is anyone's guess.
Bah - October 7, 2009, 1:03 am
So, in my informed but non-professional opinion, when the stimulus bill was passed, this moti was almost certainly true. Now, they nearly break even, with the war probably being slightly higher. I sourced NYT, WSJ, NBC, and others.
Bah - October 7, 2009, 12:58 am
Haar, as usual, cuts to the meat of the conversation. Unfortunately, which one is more depends on who you ask. Everyone uses different figures for estimating the cost; the low estimates are about 600 bil, high 1 tril, and most frequent about 800 bil.
WTFO - September 16, 2009, 6:47 pm
Please, I point out exactly what Obama is involved in while you assign blame to Bush for everything. You don't even acknowledge facts that show the housing market failure was created in the 90s and that in 06 he told Congress to get it in check. Hypocrite
ILB - September 16, 2009, 2:37 am
Oh and to counter your last post responding to me, WTFO, why do you tell me to stop blaming Bush for everything yet its ok for you to twist the facts and blame Obama for everything? Sounds like Hypocrisy at its finest to me.

Well said Agdaniele, well said indeed. :)

ILB - September 9, 2009, 3:29 am
Oh just like the fact that you (and Bush) left the true costs of the war out of the budgets and never accounted for them bringing their numbers down on paper but astronomical in reality? Typical, the only one lying or uninformed, is once again, you.

ILB, you conveniently left out the other spending packages they spent during the same month. Mainly the Omnibus which added to the 'stimulus' is well over $1T. As usual...you are either uninformed or lying. I'm not sure which.
ILB - September 1, 2009, 1:36 am

I've seen your posters TTH. There isn't much in the way of quality. A few tributes a few attacks on tunnelers and support for the pot that has rotted your brain. Not impressed. But, no matter. You have a right to be here that you fail to extend to others.

Haarakkon - August 20, 2009, 10:53 am
Just a side note: If we make the number of posters created a criterion for comments, where do we draw the line? Can you not comment until you've made, say, 100 posters? A thousand? Or is it a ratio? 5 comments for every poster made? Or 10?
ThePirate - August 20, 2009, 7:56 am
you know, there was a night a little while back where you and others were commenting about a pit bull poster. the whole discussion was informative and I learned a lot. No one was called a Timmy or put down. That is what we need more of. Not attacks
ThePirate - August 20, 2009, 7:50 am
my guess is that the site was invented so people could have fun making posters... and that is the allure. it wasn't created so you could be the leading commentator on other peoples work... no one really cares what you think anyway. or what I think.
ThePirate - August 20, 2009, 7:46 am
it was not racist, never meant to be. my issue is that you bounce around commenting annoyingly on everyone elses posters, yet contribute very little work yourself. You stir up fights all the time and drive people away. You act like you invented this site
TheTrashHeap - August 20, 2009, 7:36 am
Pirate you have an issue because of the comments I made regarding your Africa poster. Put more thought into your posters and you won't be criticized. Your poster was racist and you needed to be told.
TheTrashHeap - August 20, 2009, 7:34 am
when timmies are allowed to vote lions mean nothing. You can whine about some imagined clique all you want Whines Too Fuckin Often, but the only conspiracy against you is one of common sense. You have been told to stop the diatribes, now grow up.

WTFO - August 20, 2009, 12:15 am
Well said Pirate. BTW, TTH I often get compliments on my posters from the peers and good lion ratings. In case you missed it, the lions are there to tell you exactly how people feel about your work. But I guess when the clique speaks, facts don't matter.
Elder God Douchebag - August 20, 2009, 12:12 am
Neither do you. Remember that.
ThePirate - August 20, 2009, 12:06 am
and when exactly TTH are you going to start entertaining US? 35 Motifakes, 10,000 comments on other peoples Motifakes.. don't be a poser.. start being one of the contributors who make us laugh or think or cry.. YOU do not dictate content here. U thinku do
TheTrashHeap - August 19, 2009, 11:49 pm
You obviously have missed the point once again. There is no attempt at entertainment or humor in this poster. That is why it should be removed. Your posters are just veiled complaints and detract from the entertainment value of this site.
TheTrashHeap - August 19, 2009, 11:47 pm
Poster ratings mean nothing when judged here. When I receive a compliment from my peers (the contributors of this site)that is more than enough for me. Ratings are a poor judge of quality and a 2.9 is perfect. Nice try though.
WTFO - August 19, 2009, 11:43 pm
TTH, one respectful question this time based on your last comment here. If this should be removed then why does it have a rating 3.38 and your best poster only rates 3.15 (lower than my average of 3.18)? Maybe you don't speak for as "many" as you claim.
Gort - August 19, 2009, 6:59 pm
It's amusing the amount of disbelief being posted here. It only emphisizes the way these fucktards in the picture can blow through money. The only reason this poster isn't funny is because it's so goddamn true. Change! Whoo Hoo!

Agent K - August 1, 2009, 3:12 am
Haarakkon may have a point you can't really place a value on any life. but as it is with all the bombs and other munitions we've used in both wars i find it hard to believe the "official costs" also things like JP8 and all the medical care for the wounded
WTFO - August 1, 2009, 3:02 am
The fact is that the omnibus bill plus the $787B "stimulus" did cost more dollars than both wars combined. However, that doesn't take into account the loss of life of servicemen/women which can't be measured with cash. That's not politics, that's stats.
Haarakkon - July 31, 2009, 4:01 pm
Maybe we've developed really fuel efficient tanks. Or our soldiers volunteer now. Or there are miraculous free healing hospitals. Or the planes run on solar power now. Maybe the troops walked over there, too.
Haarakkon - July 31, 2009, 3:57 pm
This poster is a wonderful case in point. Can anyone (without pointing to skewed "data" provided mostly by the politicos they follow, on both sides) honestly believe that more was spent in the stimulus bill than in an overseas conflict lasting 7 years?
Haarakkon - July 31, 2009, 3:54 pm
It would seem to me that "liberals" bear the brunt of the blame game at the moment. Yet another convenient way of avoiding responsibility. Bottom line is that conservatives and liberals alike have been blinded by their own sides' propaganda.

You can check the site for yourself on that one. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/personalities/barack-obama/ That sure sounds like a biased organization doesn't it?
Anonymous1010 - March 28, 2009, 1:51 am
While the "media bias" line may work at CPAC, it does not change the errors you made - which the article points out very well. If Politifact.com was as biased as you claim, it would not evaluate Obama's statements as anything but true.

Sean - September 19, 2009, 12:13 am
Maybe I don't know what the word "lies" means either, since I am more than prepared to concede that the Bush admin really believed what it heard or saw. More's the pity really.
WTFO - September 19, 2009, 12:12 am
BTW, I also agree that a CIA agent's identity should not be disclosed. But the reason it happened is still unknown.

that no one can ever release that would have justified the war. Oh, and rather that use his WMD's to defend him country from attack, he shipped them all off to Syria.
Sean - September 19, 2009, 12:10 am
Whether there was other intel, the stuff that was advanced publically -- yellow cake, aluminium tubes, etc., we know where the WMD's are -- turned out to be pure bull*sh*it. So now we are being asked to believe that there's some super-secret stuff
WTFO - September 19, 2009, 12:06 am
there, whether you like it or not. It wasn't just the US intel, China, Israel, France, UK, and even Canadian intel agreed on Iraq. So enough with the slander about lies and spin. For those of us who understand it's a tired/false argument, you can't prove.
WTFO - September 19, 2009, 12:04 am
Agree on the exit strategy to a degree, but you can't work on arbitrary timelines without meeting specific goals first or Iraq would fail. That classified "intel crap" protects lives and is endangered if the enemy learns sources and methods. The intel was
WTFO - September 19, 2009, 12:02 am
Again you claim to know what is in the minds of those you accuse of lying and leaking a CIA agent. You assume intent vs having facts. Not trying to call you a liar, just that you are spreading the far-lefts lies they used to get power.
Sean - September 19, 2009, 12:00 am
any intel that would be to its advantage. Yet no such self serving leaks. So can the compelling yet can't be disclosed intel crap. They ran with the spin they could spin, and you got a war without an exit strategy.
Sean - September 18, 2009, 11:59 pm
Do you even know what the word lie means? I doubt it. And I can assuure you that I am not the least bit offended at being called a liar by you. And the administration that leaks the identity of a CIA agent out of sheer malace is sure to leak ...
WTFO - September 18, 2009, 11:28 pm
Quite right, Bart. Sean, did you see the intel that both Congress and Pres Bush did when they agreed to kick Saddam's ass? No? I saw some, so your and the far-left's accusations of "lying" are the actual lies here.

Again, you change the subject. Bush and his cronies played fast and loose with the "truth" so as to start an endless war. Obama is your president, not mine. Seems to be kind of a dud to me at this point.
Bartimaeus - September 18, 2009, 11:21 pm
How do you tell when a politician is lying?...He wins the election. Waka! waka! waka! All politicians lie, because people will only vote for perfection; It's do or die, a leader can never say "try."
WTFO - September 18, 2009, 11:17 pm
DB, in some cases yes conservatives use this. Over the last 2 elections the Dems gained power by standing against anything Bush stood for. That's not a position but an opposition and it worked for them. Partly due to media claims of Reps as lying on Iraq.
WTFO - September 18, 2009, 11:15 pm
Sean, why is it okay for you to call Bush a liar but when Obama is called out for lying to Congress and the public, there's huge outcry. You can't prove any of the left's claim for lies. Don't be such a hater, bud.
Paul Kondor Poduszlo - September 18, 2009, 11:11 pm

We have exhausted them, essentially, but not in full-view of the world community. It's just for appearance. Shuts up the domestic no-war at any cost liberal pussies, too. I don't want another 9/11 either, but this time, it'll be more universally justified
WTFO - April 12, 2009, 2:37 pm
I totally agree with exhausting all "nice-guy" efforts. Our disagreement is that I believe we have already exhausted those efforts and I'm not will to risk lives to revisit those mistakes with this enemy.
agdaniele - April 12, 2009, 2:14 pm
I'm simply saying that you can do a lot more, and a lot worse things if you've exhausted all nice-guy efforts.
agdaniele - April 12, 2009, 2:10 pm
I find no fault in that logic. Then again, I was pointing toward a Desert Storm-style coalition effort against the terrorists. I figure you'd have active support from otherwise "closet" supporters if you show them the impotence of diplomacy first.
WTFO - April 12, 2009, 2:08 pm
supporting the US but they know steps are necessary to keep their countries safe from terrorism. We had our diplomacy pissed on we engaged the enemy and the media and dishonest liberals (across the world) turned several folks away from our side.
WTFO - April 12, 2009, 2:06 pm
Too funny. "cooperative when you end up bombing them". I can tell you that we have a lot of support from a large number of countries, in Afghan and Iraq. Some open support others behind the scenes because their leaders are too afraid of public opinion of

agdaniele - April 12, 2009, 2:03 pm
I agree with you completely in regards to the UN. However, you have to look at it outside the box. If the world sees you trying to be diplomatic instead of just resorting to military solutions, they will be more cooperative when you end up bombing them

Our goals and hopes are the same. However, I see the practical approach. Like I said, it'll allow us to say "Hey, UN, we gave them every chance at the tables to make peace" -- and when we start going at the terrorists real hard, the world will be in sync.

WTFO - August 23, 2009, 11:20 pm
I was shooting for perfection. Where did I lose that .1%? Maybe it was a typo, bud.
lunchmeat5000 - August 7, 2009, 12:07 am
Natchez is a shithole anyway(like most of MS), they need all the help that can get...but the rest of the country shouldn't be paying for it. It's a state issue only. WTFO, 99.9% of the time, I'm in agreement with you anyways.
WTFO - August 6, 2009, 11:25 pm
Hmm, fair enough. Sorry if I jumped the gun on you. lm5000, I'd say even $1M of federal tax dollars is a waste. If it has important historical value then the state should have funded it, not folks who live in the other 49 states.
lunchmeat5000 - August 6, 2009, 9:59 pm
But the Mayor is saying they only requested $1mil, where this $600mil comes from is not known. Stimuluswatch.org still Waste of has it at 600mil. Waste of damn money if you ask me.
lunchmeat5000 - August 6, 2009, 9:56 pm
Forks of the Road Heritage Trail. This project would greatly enhance one of the primary gateways to our city by creating an African American/Ethnic Heritage Trail along a stretch of St. Catherine Street between the Forks of the Road Slave Market Site.
Hmm - August 6, 2009, 6:51 am
If you are addressing me, I never claimed that it would have an effect on the economy. (Hence my comment about the ridiculously high cost.) I was merely pointing out a logical flaw in the math used by the OP.
WTFO - July 31, 2009, 1:36 am
POTUS, screamed we need this now, don't read, vote yes! Hurry! Hurry or a catastrophe will happen. We'll be at 8% unemployment by May without it. Well, they signed it and we're approaching 10% unemployment with the "rescue stimulus". We were lied to.
WTFO - July 31, 2009, 1:35 am
Hmm, do you honestly believe that this particular effort in the "stimulus " bill actually constitutes stimulus that will have an affect on the US economy? I don't. This is one of many wasteful lines in that BS bill that NOBODY read before voting.

InDDeed... Because a guy's love of cleavage has *everything* to do with their arguments. BTW, only about half the aliases listed for me are mine. Such is the fate of those whose ISP uses DHCP...
agdaniele - July 26, 2009, 10:43 am
You'd almost make a good point if one of your aliases wasn't BoobLover.
Hmm - July 26, 2009, 10:40 am
That math assumes a 1-time construction cost rather than including annual upkeep/salaries, materials (even trails use some), and land purchase. It *does* seem ridiculously high though. How many acres and miles of trails are we talking about here? O_o;
lunchmeat5000 - February 10, 2009, 12:57 am
As a MS resident, I'm still wondering wtf is going on with that.

This is totally wrong... it should be Bugs in the center. At least he stuck with his original name his whole career, instead of Steamboat Willie.

No worries at all on that count, Rick! God bless the Hockenberry family for releasing this photo for publication. Thanks, too, motinet, for checking on this. Didn't mean to cause a tempest. Just protective of heroes and their families. Thanks again~~LG

good on you for the due diligence Mr.M.
motinet - March 5, 2012, 3:31 pm

Rick69 - March 5, 2012, 2:55 pm
Lgvernon I really deeply apologise if I have hurt your feelings & you must understand I did not intend any harm either. However this is K. Hockenberry 19 who lost both legs & left arm in improvised explosive June 2011. I wish him to be remembered forever.
lgvernon - March 5, 2012, 11:39 am

I thought that, too, and I hope it is.
lgvernon - March 5, 2012, 11:38 am

I wonder if that sentiment would be solace enough if this man's child or wife, sister, mother or dad came across this photo in his or her email one day? I doubt it. The last thing this man and others like him want would be for anyone to see him like this.
Mooooooooooooooooooo - March 5, 2012, 1:33 am
Am I the only one thinking that this is a staged pic?
CloudchaserS - March 5, 2012, 12:39 am
I respect how you feel and I see why you would feel that way, but I think that photos like this help keep us from forgetting how terrible war is.
lgvernon - March 4, 2012, 9:08 pm

My husband went away to war and thankfully came home. This epitomizes my most horrible daily fear: that I would see him on the news or in a photo like this for the very last time. Please consider taking this down.

Mmmm...Southern Comfort. I might come over to the Dark side if you have SC Waterboarding. No we don't put fact and reason in the blue raspberry Kool-Aid. We save that for our Cool Conservative Coffee.
Marduke - March 14, 2009, 3:03 pm
You mean the impossibility of reason kool-aid. No thanks, I'll switch to cherry berry. I appreciate the offer though. Also jack daniels waterboarding won't work, you might want to try southern comfort.
Mark - March 14, 2009, 2:55 pm
Blue Raspberry Kool-Aid is reserved for Conservative Republicans Marduke. Are you ready to come over to the side of reason?

I prefer Blue Rhasberry flavor.
